This role includes providing legal representation and assistance to clients in specific areas of law, such as small claims court, landlord-tenant disputes, family, and summary conviction criminal cases. As a licensed paralegal, I possess expertise in legal research, case management, advocacy, and client communication. I am also skilled in drafting legal documents, representing clients in court proceedings, and offering legal assistance and guidance within my authorised practice areas.On the other hand, my role as a professional McKenzie Friend operates outside the traditional legal framework. It involves providing support and assistance to individuals representing themselves in court proceedings. As a McKenzie Friend, I may not have any formal legal qualifications, but I possess a solid understanding of legal principles, court procedures, and relevant laws. I offer practical assistance with case preparation, moral support to litigants, and guidance on navigating the legal system. I also attend court hearings with litigants, providing encouragement and assistance throughout the process.
