ABOUT DAMIEN GARVEY

I am a conscientious and self-motivated executive leader with extensive experience in Strategic Leadership, Executive Management, Executive Team Development, Financial Management, Sales, Marketing and Operational Leadership. I have strong organisational and communication skills, accentuated by a verifiable ability to exhibit confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism when dealing with internal and external stakeholders. A visionary strategist capable of employing outside of the box thinking to maximise opportunities and safeguard resources whilst providing accounting and finance direction and support. I am committed to excellence and determined to leverage qualifications and past experience to support the objectives of the organisation.My roles and responsibilities included some of the following - • Responsible for the Australian operations of $140m turnover / 300 staff • Develop and lead a newly created organisational structure and executive team to align with the global model.• Develop a 3, 5 and 10 year strategic sales and operational plan for the Australian market.• Represent Australia on the Asia/Pacific Sales Board for the APAC region.• Ensure the safety of all staff members, contractors and sales partners.• Identify company expansion and growth opportunities nationally and oversee the planning and delivery of these expansion.• Oversee through the executive team all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the planned results and are consistent with the business goals.• Build trusting relationships with key partners and stakeholders and act as the local point of contact for the group’s international directors and shareholders.
