IT Architect for VocaLink, this is a varied and contrantly changing role where I spend time working with Product Management and clients to design and implement new services. Roadmap (Service / Product, IT Service and IT Technology) creation, presentaion and maintenance for the business. Sensible CMDB maintenance for business unit assets to aid in Roadmap creation and What if scenario analysis. Specialist and Consultant on HP NonStop (aka Tandem) platform used for 2 of VocaLinks key services. Currently API enabling VocaLink servces, specifically NonStop resident ones. Publishing data and accepting transactions using REST / JSON and for legacy clients XML / SOAP. Also working on visualisation of business data using Minecraft, powered by API\'s and Java. I perform capacity forecasting and “what if” usage scenario’s for new business opportunities and also for real time application and OS upgrades as well as any potential hardware upgrades.
