ABOUT DAMALI BURTON

I\'m a mission-driven consultant, coach and trainer who equips and empowers leaders to drive change within their organizations from a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) lens. As a professional Leadership Development Advisor, I\'m influential, inclusive, and strategic. I partner with teams, individuals and also work independently to enable advancement of DEI initiatives, while sustaining dialogue in complex organizations or communities. All of these solutions and efforts enable communities to drive reform, increase impact and expand reach. Personally, I\'m a strong communicator and natural storyteller. I have a special talent in developing compelling fact-based narratives that promotes emotional commitment, mobilizes action, drives change and influences elected officials. I\'m also an empathetic people person and have extensive experience in building transformative partnerships across differences, enabling effective collaboration between schools, districts, community organizations and leadership. As a people manager, I create a supportive learning environment, empowering all my direct reports to cultivate his or her own strengths to achieve professional goals.
