As a Systems Engineer, I work closely with a sales representative for a Global Carrier. My main mission is to support the sales organization in all technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales. In my role, I: Qualify sales leads from a technical standpoint during pre-sales Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls and educate the customer on issues such as features, specifications, functionality, and integration Serve as the lead technical contact for identified accounts, working closely with the technical support team and engineering to resolve customer\'s technical issues Provide post-sales training to identified customers I have more than 18 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer and LAN/WAN/Internet services administration. My expertise in wireless technologies, including deploying, supporting, and conducting site surveys, and strong understanding of wireless authentication technologies, DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP, and various security technologies. I directly support the Global Alliance Manager and provide technical oversight to new service creation for the assigned MSSP. I have also acted as a Major Account Manager, where I created and implemented strategic account plans with a focus on enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services. I developed executive relationships with key buyers and influencers, coordinate with internal groups to generate winning bids and proposals, and negotiate terms of business with clients. My goal is to build and promote the company\'s position as the worldwide leader in Unified Threat Management.
