Recipient of the Mellon Mays Fellowship under the guidance of faculty mentors Dr. Garcia Hernandez and Dr. Rodríguez. Completing an honor thesis as part of departmental honors and program requirements. The title of my research project is \"Dark Glamour & Gendered Risk: Women, Trans Men, and Gender Expansive Latines Navigating Safety, Belonging & Resistance in Los Ángeles’ Goth Queer Nightlife” I have conducted ethnographic research in various Los Ángeles nightclubs, conducting informal interviews and semi-structured interviews, and have conducted testimonio workshops with participants. I have presented at various conferences and symposiums, including: Yale Undergraduate Research Conference, Voices Across Fronteras: Research Symposium, Undergraduate Research Week @UCLA, Queering the Record: Queer Scholars Symposium, and Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Research Poster Day @UCLA
