ABOUT CRAIG RUFF
With over 28 years of experience in recruitment, resource management, and talent acquisition, I am a trusted leader in building and leading high-performing teams across various sectors, especially in government, engineering, nuclear, and defence. I am passionate about driving the sustainable growth of the business through a very focused, culture and values driven approach. As the Hiring Lead for the Defence Equipment & Transformation area of the amentum Defence & Asset Solutions business, I work closely with the Framework Management Team, Resource Management Team, Functional Leads and Talent Acquisition team to ensure we hire the right people and move them around the various frameworks and performance units across the business. I also lead interviews, make hiring decisions, and manage candidates through their vetting, joining, and IT provisioning processes. Additionally, I deliver onboarding and inductions of all new joiners to help them quickly adapt and excel in their new environment. I am proud to be part of a team that is delivering key capability into various areas of the Ministry of Defence in the UK and other government organisations around the world. I also sit on the Early Careers Planning committee and am responsible for leading the graduate assessment centre workstream for the UK Amentum business. It absolutely goes without saying that I love my job, the business I work in and the impact we\'re having on driving a sustainable future!
