Experienced Network Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the ISP/MSP sector and most recently in Enterprise networkingI am skilled in maintaining managed branch routers and supporting core network infrastructure - Juniper and Cisco. A competent user of Ansible and version control with git and GitLab. I have also ventured into learning and implementing web servers, VMs and Load balancing to assist with creating Network Automation services. I take pride in working outside of my comfort zone and am happy to get stuck into new technologies and projects. The move to an IoT company dealing with the Service provider\'s core network and enterprise network was a big shift from previous roles.The Relevant experience here would be assisting in designing the company\'s GCP hybrid network and developing a thorough IP design to support deployments using an Infrastructure as Code methodology to manage GCP. I have also taken on projects such as building a new network overlay to support Kubernetes deployments in a distributed way using Cilium Cluster-mesh with native routing to connect clusters in multiple regions.Passionate about using, learning and teaching Network Automation tooling using Ansible to manage Software Installation and configuration changes. As part of the network automation journey, I have an interest in inventory management and monitoring using open-source tooling and trialling different use cases. I tend to spend my spare time researching Network Automation topics. I also look to manage the Network Automation platforms, such as config backups, network discovery, Network Source of truth and network monitoringCreating Network Design solutions and Configurations for customers.
