Played a lead role in the migration of our Data Centers to allow for expected growth & enhanced physical security. Work included the migration of stand-alone cabinets to secured, caged environments. Worked closely with the Network Engineering Team in the planning, purchasing and executing of all cage migration needs.Improved network monitoring systems for better visibility and alerting. Created and maintain Network Engineering knowledge base. Researched and deployed a dual authentication (2FA) solution enterprise-wide.Coming from a (primarily) Cisco background, I have researched and become proficient with additional hardware vendors including F5, Fortinet, Dell switches and Force10 appliances.
