ABOUT CRAIG GREER
After several years working as a dedicated, solutions-focused Site Manager, I am now building my own business, Shelbourne & Greer Ltd – Insulation Contractors. My background is in civils and building works and I take great pride in delivering work to the highest standards.Before entering construction, I played professional rugby. Following an injury that ended my playing career earlier than planned, I refocused on developing a long-term career in the construction industry. I completed an apprenticeship in bricklaying, qualified as a certified drainage surveyor, and gained the relevant project management certifications to lead works safely and effectively. I also leveraged strong professional relationships built during my rugby career to gain experience across a wide range of construction sites.Alongside my business, I am the Forwards Coach at Melrose RFC, where I am responsible for the technical and tactical development of the forward pack, including set piece, contact area performance, and player development. This role further strengthens my leadership, communication, and team-building skills, all of which I apply daily in my professional work
