ABOUT JIM CONNELL
As Executive Director of Community Programs at College of Lake County (CLC), I oversee the development and implementation of impactful initiatives that serve the needs of our students, business, and community partners. I bring over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, and community engagement, as well as a strong passion for social change and education.I am also the Creative Director and Founder of Craftsman Cafe, a nonprofit organization that produces cool experiences, collaborates, and pays it forward. Through free concerts, chef events, interviews, and more, our Cafe community has raised nearly for local charities in the Lake County area. Additionally, I taught social media marketing as an adjunct faculty at CLC and also served four years as a Village Trustee in Libertyville, IL where I reside with my wife and three daughters. I am driven by the mission of creating value, connection, and opportunity for our community.
