ABOUT COURTNEY KUPRES
I am the Director of Human Resources at Gift of Life Michigan, where I oversee all aspects of human resources, including but not limited to, talent acquisition, talent management, benefit administration, HR systems, policy development, employee experience, and strategic initiatives. As a member of the leadership team, I contribute to the development of the company\'s strategic objectives, then develop and implement a supporting strategic plan. In my current role, I use my skills in creative problem solving, analytical thinking, and collaboration to achieve organizational objectives. As a department lead and team manager, I focus on team cohesion, development, and achievement of annual goals. I am passionate about effectively communicating and building relationships with staff at all levels, management, and organizational leadership. Prior to joining Gift of Life, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to develop my HR knowledge and skills while working for Arbor Research Collaborative for Health for over 12 years. I hold a Bachelor\'s degree from the University of Michigan and am currently certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the HRCI.
