ABOUT COSTANTINO AMADEI

With over 26 years of consolidated experience within the ButanGas Group, I have developed an innovative and multidisciplinary approach to tackling complex industrial and organizational challenges across various European markets—including Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, Poland, Austria, and Germany.During my tenure at ButanGas, I held multiple senior operational roles, leading strategic projects to expand the LPG business and diversify into renewable energy sectors such as wind power. I was also responsible for managing corporate restructuring processes and organizational transformations to maintain competitiveness in changing economic environments.Since 2013, I have been collaborating with Società Italiana Gas Liquidi S.p.A.(Vulcangas), where I serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Vulcan Group. In this role, I have been instrumental in developing the entire small-scale LNG value chain in Italy—from upstream procurement and logistics to final distribution and sales. I have structured and managed the full LNG infrastructure and supply system, including strategic partnerships with major European producers.Simultaneously, I have led the development of the first LNG and bio-LNG refueling station in Romania, offering both compressed and liquefied fuels for heavy-duty transport. This project marks a pioneering milestone in the Romanian energy transition landscape.In June 2024, I was elected President of the LNG Sector Group within Assogasliquidi (Federchimica), under the umbrella of Confindustria Italy, where I actively contribute to the national energy policy agenda and technological innovation in clean fuels.At the same time, I am also a member of the Federatia Patronala Energie (FPE) in Romania, where I actively participate in the working groups for the development of new national legislation on LNG and bio-LNG, focusing on technological neutrality, infrastructure, certification systems, and decarbonization pathways.
