ABOUT CONNIE GRANDMASON
Organizations that invest in strategic, consistent, multichannel planned giving marketing are experiencing significant benefits. These investments not only build a consistent stream of future support but also prepare for a potentially unstable fundraising environment. Organizations with robust planned giving programs will be better equipped to navigate these challenges and thrive, while those without such programs may struggle.I am grateful to be part of an organization that prioritizes investment in this crucial area. As a highly successful development professional, in 2008, I launched Special Olympics\' inaugural multichannel, planned giving program on behalf of the national headquarters and its affiliates. Since its inception, I have identified, engaged, and stewarded a portfolio of loyal donors, securing a pipeline of future planned gift revenue conservatively estimated at $65 million. Additionally, I have developed and managed complex, multi-channel direct response fundraising programs within a federated model; launched and managed an international direct response program in the UK and Ireland; and oversaw the implementation and conversion of a relational database/CRM system.
