ABOUT CONNIE GODSEY-BELL
As the Subject Matter Expert for LexisNexis’s online intellectual property content projects, I lead the database design and feature/function testing. My focus is on meeting stakeholder (business unit) and sales goals for LexisNexis’s legal markets. I support the UX (user experience), usability, marketing, sales, and customer service teams. My core competencies are content production and documentation, cross functional communication, multi-media online database management, negotiation, change management, schedule control, and international teamwork. I am a strong problem solver, tactical planner, and collaborative team member. Some of my key achievements are- Conducted quality audit of LexisNexis’s patent repository containing 40 million patents- Managed the XML quality checking, search syntax testing, and feature/function testing for 200 patent databases on the flagship product Lexis.com- Led analyst team that loaded over 6 million Elsevier Journal articles for initial launch of ScienceDirect. I have a dual Master’s degree in Library and Information Science and Information Architecture and Knowledge Management (IAKM) from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio.
