ABOUT COLIN BEDNASZ

I am a current student at the University of Cincinnati pursuing a bachelors degree in electrical engineering. I have completed projects with two different groups of fellow engineering students designing, prototyping and testing a robot that was being built to perform a certain set of tasks. Some of these tasks involved following a line and picking up a box and were to be completed using a Lego Mindstorm EV3 kit. These two projects involved a lot of time management as well as communication tasks in order to meet the required deadlines on time. I also have spent two years working at Walmart in the online grocery pickup and delivery department. This role consisted a lot of teamwork as the role was team based by working with your coworkers to complete customers orders on time and make sure that the groceries were good quality. I was also someone that was in charge of training new employees to ensure that they could meet the company deadlines of 100 picked per hour and under a 5 minute wait time for bringing orders to customers. Alongside working at Walmart I have also spent some working at a small company local to where I live as a Production assistant and was tasked with ensuring orders were completed and shipped on time and that all the products we made were in great quality to ensure the company only received the best products. I also have spent lots of time volunteering in the community and have spent time volunteering with my neighbor and the local animal shelter to foster animals, mainly newly born kittens and their mother, as the shelter was searching for homes for them. I also have spent time working with Habitat for Humanity volunteering at their warehouses to help people find pieces of furniture and appliances at a cheap price.
