With 30 years of specialised knowledge in operating and programming multiple-axis CNC sliding head (Swiss-type lathes), turn-mill, and multi-spindle machinery, I am an experienced CNC Engineer who has been trained in Japan. I am well-versed in the use of state-of-the-art numerical control systems and supporting CAD/CAM software for developing simple to complex high precision components.My technical key skills include proficiency in operating CNC sliding head machinery, CNC turn-mill lathes, and multi-spindle CNC lathes, as well as experience with multi-axis machines. I am also knowledgeable in ISO programming for Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi, and possess a solid understanding of production engineering, material machinability, tooling, associated technologies, macro programming, and CNC training for beginners to experts. I have a keen eye for detail and possess exceptional quality awareness. Furthermore, I have strong man-management skills and a self-ambitious drive to succeed in the manufacturing environment.Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with a range of CNC sliding head lathes, including Citizen Cincom, Star, Tornos, Nexturn, and Traub, as well as Miyano and Mazak fixed-head lathes, and Index multi-spindle lathes plus old school Cam Autos. In addition to my technical skills, I possess commercial skills such as effective communication at all levels, from chairman to shop floor staff, prospecting, discovery, social selling, listening, objection-handling, presentation, negotiation, territory management, technology, buyer research, time management, and planning.
