Within the Group Business Continuity and Operational Resilience (BCR) team my role is varied, comprising solution design and implementation, project management, client relationship management, risk management and oversight. My clients include the Investment Bank, Group Treasury and Non Core Legacy divisions, globally. This role involves supporting clients with their business continuity and operational risks, acting as the first line of defence; scrutinising their provision and solutionize risks and issues.The variation of the role means I am well-versed in managing a varied workload, deadlines and stakeholder expectations. I pride myself on building trustworthy relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders, enabling me to credibly support, influence and challenge. My personable skills allow me to communicate technical topics so they’re relevant and understandable.Other aspects include support of the UK crisis management committee, development and facilitation of exercises, and, during real events. I was a member of the UK crisis committee throughout the COVID-19 crisis, supporting all business division and group functions with their response and return to office activities.
