ABOUT CLEMENT TWAGIRAMUNGU
My name is Clement Twagiramungu. I am a fourth-year student at the University of Louisville, studying Computer Information Systems with a focus on cybersecurity. Throughout my four years, I have taken invaluable coursework, including software development, database design, systems analysis & design, and an introduction to information security. In these courses, I learned various programming languages, including C#, CSS, HTML, and SQL. Outside of the classroom, I serve as the chapter president of the Alpha Pi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Additionally, I am both an LSAMP and Woodford R. Porter Scholar and a member of the African Student Union. Although currently unemployed, I previously worked for Baird as an IT Service Desk Intern, where I answered ServiceNow chats and phone calls from Baird associates to help resolve technical issues, including VPN connectivity and troubleshooting. I also worked on a project in which I formatted more than 200 laptops for new employees following a business acquisition. Upon graduation in December 2024, I plan to pursue a master’s degree in Business Analytics through the University of Louisville’s College of Business Graduate Program. I also plan to obtain both CompTIA Security+ and Network+ certifications to further enhance my knowledge of cybersecurity.
