ABOUT CLAYTON BUSH

I’m a 1L at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University with a strong interest in complex civil litigation and high-stakes commercial disputes. I am particularly drawn to representing corporations and institutional clients in sophisticated matters involving regulatory enforcement, consumer protection, class actions, and multidistrict litigation. As a first-generation college graduate and the first in my family to pursue a legal career, I bring a perspective shaped by resilience, discipline, and a deep respect for the power of structured advocacy.Before law school, I studied Family, Youth and Community Sciences at the University of Florida, focusing on social justice and public policy. Alongside my academic work, I built extensive experience in marketing and communications, where I developed a strategic understanding of how messaging, risk, and reputation intersect. That background sharpened my ability to analyze complex information, craft persuasive narratives, and think critically about institutional decision-making—skills that translate directly to commercial litigation.At ASU Law, I have immersed myself in both academic and professional development opportunities that strengthen my analytical writing, research precision, and advocacy skills. I am intentional about building the technical foundation required to navigate complex factual records and multifaceted business disputes.Looking ahead, I am particularly interested in how sophisticated litigation strategy can protect corporate interests while addressing regulatory and commercial challenges in an increasingly complex business environment. Whether through large-scale commercial disputes, class action defense, or regulatory litigation, I aim to build a career defined by rigor, strategic thinking, and excellence in advocacy.
