Vessel Operations Management• Monitoring the loading and discharging of Biofuels vessels, coordinating with agents and terminals to ensure smooth port operations.• Overseeing barge operations, as well as inter-terminal transfers (ITT), rail, and truck deliveriesStorage & Blending Oversight• Managing stock levels and forecasts for storage facilities.• Coordinating ethanol blending operations to meet contractual specifications.Shipping & Documentation• Tracking all shipping procedures (BLs, ETAs, NORs), notifying traders of any deviations.• Preparing voyage and documentary instructions.• Appointing and instructing surveyors and superintendents at load/discharge ports.Financial & Contractual Coordination• Liaising with the Credit department to ensure timely issuance of Letters of Credit (LCs).• Ensuring trade details are accurately entered into internal systems and reflected in trader positions.• Working with Confirmations to verify contractual terms are correctly documented.Compliance & Vetting• Conducting vessel vetting and verifying technical requirements for terminal compatibility.• Coordinating with the Tax department and Customs Agents for global trade compliance, including import/export documents like eADs and AGRIM licences.System Management & Claims• Keeping internal systems updated with cargo delivery data and associated fees.• Collaborating with Product Control, Treasury, and Tax teams to resolve P&L discrepancies.• Monitoring operational systems, suggesting IT tool improvements.• Calculating laytime and demurrage claims, handling post-fixture and operational disputes.
