I have always had a passion for fast vehicles, from cars to go-karts to boats, but when I got on my first motorcycle, I immediately knew that my path in life would have been on two wheels. After specializing in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bologna, in 1991 I began my career at Ducati, which was then a small company with only very few engineers. I grew wiser in this fantastic environment, which in turn developed to become the great reality it is today. During my 30 years in Ducati, I have had the opportunity to develop products side by side with great people, engineers and designers, from whom I learnt a lot. Today, in the position of CEO my aspiration is to lead the company and our people into the future, with the support and help of every woman and man working for Ducati around the world, bringing together passion, design and technology in a unique blend called Ducati. In my everyday life I’m a family man, a husband and three times father, a great fan of German Shepherds, skiing, boating, an amateur MTB user and, of course, a motorcyclist.
