At BCAA, I’m part of the Strategic Ventures (Innovation) team, where our mission is to identify unmet or underserved needs of British Columbians and introduce new products and services that help move them forward.In my role, I lead the evaluation of early-stage concepts within our Innovation Funnel—assessing each opportunity through the lens of desirability, feasibility, and viability. This involves digging into consumer insight, business model design, market dynamics, and operational fit, to determine where and how we can create meaningful impact. These opportunities may be organic (built internally) or inorganic (through partnerships or acquisitions), depending on the best path to deliver value.Concepts that the Strategic Ventures team have brought to life include Evo Car Share, Small Business Insurance, Evolve E-Bike and E-Scooter Share, and BCAA Marketplace.
