Hi, I’m Christy Thom. Throughout my career, I\'ve been fortunate to work in areas that I’m truly passionate about—talent management, organizational effectiveness, and entrepreneurial ventures. As the Director of Talent Management at MGM Resorts International, I focus on creating initiatives that genuinely support employee engagement and leadership development. I enjoy partnering with senior leaders to craft strategies that bridge talent gaps and strengthen our organizational health. It’s not just about hitting performance metrics; it’s about making a positive impact on the people we work with every day. I’ve also had the opportunity to channel my love for innovation and creativity through entrepreneurial ventures. As the Regional Developer and Managing Partner of Dogtopia Orange County, I was deeply involved in regional development and franchise operations. This experience was incredibly rewarding, as it allowed me to turn market insights into actionable plans while driving meaningful change and growth. Earlier in my journey, I took on roles like Director of Learning and Development and Senior Organization Effectiveness Partner at MGM Resorts International. These positions helped me develop leadership training programs that transformed how we approach talent management. I’m always eager to learn and grow, which aligns perfectly with my natural curiosity and drive for excellence. I hold a Master of Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Business Management degree from the University of Phoenix. In everything I do, I strive to combine strategic thinking with a genuine commitment to fostering innovation and excellence. I’m excited about the future and the opportunities it holds for continued growth and connection.
