In addition, the golf course won Best Golf Course (£100-£250) at the 2025 Scottish Golf Tourism Awards, was voted by Golf Monthly as number 52 in their Top 100 UK Courses 2025/26, and is ranked as one of the best golf resorts in the world by Today\'s Golfer in its \'Golf World Top 100\' list.As Business Development Manager I report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, and I am primarily responsible for identifying and managing a portfolio of tour operators, golf tour operators and corporate business partners, including all whisky brand owners on the island. I work in partnership with local distilleries and independent bottlers to create tailored experiences for our guests, and execute activations at a number of key events throughout the year, including Feis Ile, Islay Jazz Festival, and Islay Book Festival. I travel nationally and internationally to develop our tour operator and golf tour operator database, building relationships to maximise sales and revenue opportunities. I also collaborate with various in-house departments, from F&B to marketing, to create and develop elevated Islay-focussed experiences for our guests.
