ABOUT CHRISTOPHER POMPILI

I am currently a Senior Analyst, Pricing & Submissions at Viatris, where I support pricing strategies and submission processes to help ensure timely and effective patient access to therapies. In this role, I continue to build on my experience within the Canadian drug reimbursement landscape and contribute to market access initiatives that align with both clinical and commercial objectives.My professional journey began with an internship at Sanofi, where I gained hands-on experience navigating the Canadian drug reimbursement landscape, supporting access strategies for innovative therapies, and contributing to competitive intelligence through Wargames and literature reviews. I organized the team to efficiently contribute to stakeholder consultations and summarized collective feedback to support strategic decision-making. An abstract I co-developed analyzing the request for reconsideration process and success rates was submitted to the CDA Symposium 2026, and I delivered several presentations to the Market Access department to communicate insights and recommendations. These experiences strengthened my understanding of how collaboration, strategy, and evidence-based planning drive successful access outcomes.I am currently pursuing a Master of Biotechnology and Biopharmaceuticals at the University of Toronto, where I continue to deepen my expertise in the biopharmaceutical industry and explore how science and business intersect to achieve meaningful healthcare outcomes.Before that, I earned an Honours Bachelor of Science from York University, which provided me with a strong foundation in life sciences and sparked my passion for the cross-functional relationship between science, business, and policy.My long-term goal is to work on a global scale, driving access to transformative therapies and contributing to health systems that prioritize patient outcomes and value-based care.
