ABOUT CHRISTOPHER L. PORTER
Coming from a fourth generation fishing family, I have grown up to see the bustling new frontier of fishing in the 1970\'s through the technology, conservation and restricted era of today. I grew up on the boats fishing when I was 8 in Marblehead harbor to going 100 miles off of Cape Cod when I was only 12. At 15, I went offshore lobstering 200 miles out to sea in the continental shelf and canyons fishing at 600 feet. 7 day trips and working 18 hour days every Summer. That work ethic helped me in sports, college and for the last 25 years procuring fresh local seafood and lobsters. My main objective now is still to provide the community with fresh seafood and live lobsters and to service the local fishermen from providing bait, supplies and unloading all their products from dogfish, cod, flounder and lobsters to mention a few.
