ABOUT CHRISTOF EHRHART
I have been passionate about communications throughout my career: as a student, as a journalist, as a manager and as an academic teacher. My conviction is that empathic communication can help to make the world a better place to be. Since January 2019 I am Head of Corporate Communications & Governmental Affairs and Executive Vice President at Robert Bosch Group, with about employees worldwide a leading supplier of technology and services. Prior to joining Robert Bosch Group I was Global Head of Corporate Communications & Corporate Responsibility at Deutsche Post DHL Group, with about employees in more than 200 countries and territories the world´s leading mail and logistics company. I look back on 25 years of experience as professional in international communications management for major global players such as European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS, meanwhile renamed in Airbus Group), Schering (Ethical Pharma), Bertelsmann (Media), America Online (Internet) and JT International (Tobacco). Besides my corporate career, I have been continuously engaged as visiting lecturer in the academic discipline of Corporate Communications. My teaching assignments in the last ten years include the Free University of Berlin, the University of Zurich, and the University of Leipzig, where I have been named Adjunct Professor for International Corporate Communications in January 2013. My fields of interest include international Corporate Communications strategy and organization as well as Corporate Responsibility (Shared Value) and Stakeholder Management. I studied Political Science, Economic History and German Literature at the University of Saarland (Saarbrücken) and at the University of Wales (College of Cardiff). After having earned my Ph.D. in Political Science I worked as research fellow at the Institute of Political Science of the University of Saarland and as freelancer for TV and print media before I joined corporate business.
