ABOUT CHRISTINE ULCH

Integrity, loyalty, and a strong work ethic is a must - working in an organization, with others who share these values and qualities is a dream come true. I love serving those who serve and helping students to achieve their educational goals. I enjoy participating in the community process of building the bridges to fully engage our students so that on graduation their education contains the needed skills for foundational employment and our graduates are \"sought after\". As a student services administrator, I provide career counseling and support student development for our students as they develop majors and seek career exploration after the military. Student affairs is more than registration, it is a never ending relationship built on trust, skill building and working together through graduation and beyond - building bridges for those who follow.The Air Force helped me understand the value of an education and my job continues to allow me the opportunity to pay back that investment by helping others to use their benefits and gain, not just a degree - but an education. Having completed my Doctoral program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology I find that I continue to look for \'excuses\' to apply it to my world and seek out new opportunities to design or implement training in an innovative way. I love my job, and find that I long to apply my I/O skills, curriculum development and training knowledge in new and innovative ways. I am a strong believer that innovative training can overcome organizational obstacles, improve processes, and enhance resource management. I enjoy working in an organization that gives me the opportunity to be innovative and gives me the freedom to experiment with the organizational best interests in mind. The Human Resource is our most powerful tool and supporting development in a positive environment is where my future continues to align.
