ABOUT CHRISTINE MCCAFFERTY
With over 30 years experience in Archives and over 20 years working in the drinks industry, I am driven by a real desire to share true and authentic stories and to bring these to life using Archive content and insights, which is a real privilege and joy.During my time at Diageo I have relocated the Archive to its current home and developed it into the industry leading Archive it is regarded as today, a crucial asset that is the leveraged by the business and across the industry around the world everyday. I am passionate about the history of spirit brands and how the Archive can give real insights into the brands history and heritage and identity, which in turn can inform and inspire anyone who works on or engages with those brands. As well as developing the Archive as an asset, I love sharing stories and archive content in a meaningful and engaging way for any audience. I am a self-confessed Scotch whisky and Johnnie Walker fanatic, and love sharing unique insights into the brand and category with others, as well as continuing to uncover new materials and stories, and building my knowledge.
