Throughout my career, I have experienced and enjoyed a wide range of different chemical and commerical environment, in locations around the globe: from aiding vaccination efforts in Alabama, U.S.A, to developing a new sugar-based excipient in Lund, Sweden, to the computational design of a new drug at AstraZeneca. I graduated from Durham University with a First Class Honours Degree as a Master in Chemistry and have since found a desire and interest to apply my knowledge and skills in the healthcare and pharmaceutical environment, where scientific and commercial contributions have positive implications on the well-being and health of others.I have extensive experience of laboratory practices, computational methods and analytical techniques gained from a wide range of chemical spheres. I have designed and conducted research projects in healthcare environment and have line management experience, having managed and supported an industrial placement student.I consider myself to be a conscientious, highly motivated, sociable individual, ready to meet new demands and to learn new skills.
