I’m at my best working with design teams to shape the brief, define and refine ideas – and bring all the moving parts of a creative project to launch and beyond. I have 20+ years of creative agency experience across strategy and brand, digital and campaigns.I’ve been called ‘the best wing-man a creative team will ever need’. I’m all over the research, copywriting and design details that make up the big picture. I protect the design vision and the budget. I collaborate to develop commercial ideas. My skillsets are developing brand strategy; winning and developing new business; creating, writing and presenting pitches to CEOs and senior management teams; project management, budgeting, forecasting and overall being the agency linchpin who likes to bring everyone together. How do I work? I have a solid pulse on what is relevant and understand how to incorporate meaningful desk research into the brief. I’m a concise storyteller and writer: I can slice, dice, and distill complex data sets into meaningful and actionable insight.I immerse myself in idea generation, copywriting, typography, colour palettes, grids, layouts, visual wit and creative direction. I manage photography, image-making, moving image, digital development and illustration.I like to address urgent matters with a phone call or face-to-face conversations and handle difficult, ambiguous situations with a clear, cool head and an open mind.I’ve done all of the above for brands of all sizes, across many sectors in the UK,Europe and the USA.In my role at Framework we’ve aligned our positioning, developed the right team and scaled the new business function. We\'ve doubled our turnover from 2023-5. I am available to work on marketing and new business assignments for creative agencies on a permanent or freelance basis.
