ABOUT CHRISTIAN MACEDO NIETO

Passionate Construction Professional | Project Engineer at NEWPP Expansion Project | Advocate for Sustainable Infrastructure Growing up in the construction industry, I developed a deep-rooted passion for building and innovation as I watched and helped my fathers residential framing business. This early exposure ignited my desire to contribute meaningfully to the world of construction and project management. I graduated from the University of Houston with honors, earning a GPA of 3.7 while honing my expertise in construction and project management principles. This academic background laid a solid foundation for my current role as a Project Engineer 2 on the NEWPP Expansion Project in Houston, Texas. I am proud to be part of this transformative $2 billion initiative, which will significantly enhance the region’s water supply capabilities by providing an additional 400 million gallons per day of treated water capacity to support our community’s growth and sustainability efforts. My experiences have equipped me with strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, allowing me to effectively navigate the complexities of large-scale construction projects. I am dedicated to delivering high-quality results and fostering collaboration among diverse teams.I am excited to connect with fellow professionals, share insights, and explore opportunities to advance sustainable infrastructure solutions that benefit our communities.
