Project Manager in engineering services during construction of the new outfall system (NOS) to convey Annacis Island WWTP (Metro Vancouver, BC) effluent to the Fraser River which consists of three deep tunnels, four shafts, and a diffuser manifold. The project main components consists of 770m of 4.2 diameter pre-cast concrete tunnel, 7m and 16m effluent and outfall shafts, respectively, a 3.8m riser shaft located about 150m in Fraser River in approximately 10m of water, and a diffuser manifold. Construction methods of the tunnels and shafts were tunnel boring machine (TBM) and slurry panels, respectively. Responsibility included overall management of the project, managing the approved scope, budget, and schedule, day-to-day communication with the client and project team, review and approve all contracts and invoices, overall budgeting and project reporting. Project Manager in engineering services during construction of PS22 pumping station and force main replacement for Seattle Public Utilities. The Project includes modifications to the existing pump station to increase capacity from 0.86 million gallons per day (MGD) to 4.0 MGD and replacement of the force main that discharges to the King County-owned Fort Lawton Tunnel. Project scope includes replacing pumps within the existing pump station structure and its associated electrical and instrumentation equipment, and replacing the existing standby generator, Responsibility included overall management of the project, managing the approved scope, budget, and schedule, day-to-day communication with the client and project team, review and approve all contracts and invoices, overall budgeting and project reporting.
