I represent clients in intellectual property and technology disputes. Many of my cases have a multi-jurisdictional element. Arbitration:I act in technology related arbitrations conducted under the major arbitral rules. In 2023, I have acted for a leading US headquartered global technology company in a claim concerning a payroll software system in an ICC arbitration seated in London (sum in dispute USD 20m) and defended an Australian client in the construction sector against an AUD 100m claim brought in a Geneva seated arbitration.Court litigation: During 2022/2023, I have acted in a number of High Court actions (both claimant and defendant) including an application to the Court of Appeal. These cases have concerned patent infringement, copyright in computer software, and injunctive relief for breaches of confidential information. Alternative Dispute ResolutionThe majority of my cases are resolved at any early stage.
