This position currently involves Leading a team of 25 store managers across Scotland, Northern England, Central London, Cambridge and Northern Ireland.The total headcount for the region is over 550 staff.Current responsibility is to Lead, coach and motivate the team to implement a strong commercial offer and drive great customer service through the sales team on the sales floor.Through working with the managers in the following areasSales and KPI acheivementService standards implementedProfit targets hitSuccession planningStaff development and trainingStore management development and trainingWorking with head office dept\'s to improve the offer at store levelCost control measuresPnL account management and controlLocal Scottish supplier meeting\'s and buying deals, E.G. recent deal set up with Celtic football club.local marketing events, gigs, t in the park Etc, PA\'s in-storesIn-store merchandising standardsLayout changes and footage managementXmas/event planning E.G. fathers day, mothers day, EasterImplementing new format changes E.G. the growth in new core business areas such as technology lines whilst keeping older formats such as CD and DVD profitable
