ABOUT CHRIS COOPER
I have had a long standing passion for helping people fix their technical problems. This desire led me through my education culminating in a Mechanical Engineering degree in 2009. Since then I advanced in to the world of plastics and brought that same passion to my work life. Starting off on a graduate program at Nampak I quickly progressed in to an area I excelled at, project management, delivering multiple engineering infrastructure projects related to the world of plastic HDPE milk bottles. Never one to stop learning and seek more technical knowledge in my industry, I joined Distrupol as a Development Engineer which has allowed me to expand my knowledge of plastic from a material science, design and processing point of view. I have now developed a great understanding of thousands of different grades of plastic and elastomers over the years and it allows me to help our customers design, develop and deliver projects using our polymers.I\'m currently embarking on my next biggest challenge, a Masters degree in Polymer Science and Technology, which will bring an even greater depth to my knowledge of polymers and the processing techniques behind them.Please get in contact with any questions you may have related to thermoplastics and elastomers and hopefully I can do what I’ve always loved and help fix those technical problems!c••••••••@distrupol.com
