I lead content design for QuickBooks Canada. This role is a combo of writing, strategy, engaging with customers, and mentoring team members. On a day-to-day basis, I: Partner with product, marketing, and UX design to create cohseive E2E experiences. From the moment a prospect sees a front door message to when they\'re signed up and using the platform, the content should feel connected and consistent with a strong promise to payoff. Write customer-backed messaging. When it comes time to launch a new product, feature, or partnership, I build customer-backed key messages to share with stakeholders and my team. These key messages are used to guide content across webpages, emails, and in-product notifications. Conduct research with customers. They\'re our north star, after all! The customer point of view is at the center of all my content, so collecting their input and feedback is an important element of my work. I use various methods of research and collecting feedback, including one-on-one calls where I share my screen to show users content, unmoderated surveys, A/B testing, and more. Mentor and lead fellow content designers. As the most senior content designer in the global market, I have one direct report and a handful of mentees. I love to help folks problem solve, review their craft, share ideas, and bring people together as a team. Lead the Canadian Pride ERG. I plan events and initiatives to educate and engage Intuit employees on LGBTQ+ topics. From our annual pride event, to our quarterly lunch and learns, this is a huge contribution to an inclusive company culture. And I love doing it!
