ABOUT CHLOE VAN

Hi there! I’m Chloe (she/her), a fourth-year student in UBC’s Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) program. I’m passionate about lifelong learning, building user-centered products that challenge the status quo, and approaching challenges with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to success. My unique background as a pharmacist and cosmetic tattoo artist has given me deep insights into empathy, humility, and the ability to anticipate and communicate client needs effectively. These experiences have also prepared me to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments where ambiguity is common. They\'ve sharpened my investigative and problem-solving abilities, strengthened my communication skills, and enabled me to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
