Born out of a love for independent music, Rock Coven is an online music publication that aims to champion emerging artists and shine a spotlight on under-represented individuals within the music industry. Created in a difficult time where COVID restricted live events, our platform became a community of like-minded music enthusiasts and artists with a shared goal and appreciation of music. Since its conception in 2020, Rock Coven has accumulated over 950 followers across socials. My role as Deputy Editor and Writer involves writing, researching, and editing content covering new releases, features, and industry news, as well as promoting content on social media to engage artists, management, and readers. I liaise with artists, publicists, and managers to schedule interviews, and manage our inbox to scout for new releases and interview opportunities.Rock Coven now works in association with ABH Promotions and Fitz Promotions on Night Currents Festival, collaborating on our shared goal to showcase incredible live bands.
