ABOUT CHLOE GRAINGER
As the tourism industry evolves, so do I.I have been with the South Australian Tourism Commission for over a decade and have had the pleasure to work alongside industry to support them in reaching their tourism goals and harnessing new opportunities. Currently, I am splitting my time across SATC\'s newest team - Tourism for Good (driving positive/sustainable outcomes for our community and environment), and continuing my role to drive sector outcomes (i.e. wine tourism, agritourism) within the Destination Development unit. I\'m also temporarily managing the final round of the Experience Nature Tourism funding program. Over the years, I have played a key role in developing industry tools & resources, wellness tourism development, tourism operator engagement, various funding and award programs, SA\'s cruise ship visitation program, event bids and sponsorship and a wide variety of one-off projects.It is very rewarding for me to work with small businesses to help them maximise tourism opportunities. I have a passion for South Australia\'s stunning regions and have been fortunate enough to get out from behind my desk to explore almost every corner of them.I\'m excited to continue my tourism journey and leave a legacy for our people, planet and place.
