ABOUT CHIP GINGLES

I am a business professional with nearly twenty years of management experience primarily in the solid waste industry. I have been able to develop a winning track record in operations management, sales and customer service.My professional history includes positions with Motor Club, Sara Lee and Republic Services. While at Motor Club, I gained valuable experience in customer service and logistics. I was able to develop my talent for sales at Sara Lee as a Territory Manager. I increased gross revenue and overall sales in my territory at Sara Lee over 300% in less than six months. The greater part of my professional career has been with Republic Services. Over the course of sixteen years I have held positions with Republic in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. I was promoted numerous times and for a period, I was responsible for as many as 300 employees. I worked up to the position of General Manager and had parts and labor responsibility for over 50 million dollars annually. I received many accolades during my tenure at Republic including Outstanding Performer, Most Improved in Safety, and Best in Safety.I am involved with youth ministries and missionary trips abroad. In my spare time,I enjoy golf and tennis with friends.Above all professional successes, I consider being a good husband and father to be my greatest accomplishments. I am married and have one son.
