ABOUT CHINNY IGWUILO
Hi, I’m Chinny Igwuilo! I’m a junior at UNC Charlotte, majoring in Computer Science (IT concentration) with a minor in International Studies. I’m passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems and believe innovation can create meaningful change for immigrant communities and beyond. I\'m especially driven to bridge the digital access gaps across Africa to foster equitable participation in today\'s global digital economy.I’ve worked on projects like a Book Review Sentiment Classifier using NLP and machine learning, and I’m currently expanding my skills in AI. My experiences, from leadership programs to hands-on ML coursework, have strengthened my ability to learn quickly and collaborate effectively.I aim to complete my degree in May 2027 and later pursue further study on technology governance, tech policy, and AI ethics. I’m always open to connecting with tech enthusiasts, mentors, and organizations where I can learn, contribute, and grow.
