ABOUT CHINENYE IZUEGBUNAM
As a Plant Molecular Biologist, I apply my cell biology expertise and research skills to support the development of innovative crop protection and improvement solutions. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists to design, execute, and analyze experiments using molecular and cellular Biology techniques. Participated in the Technology Readiness Acceleration Center (TRAC) program at the University of South Dakota. Through this program, I have gained valuable insights into the bioscience business and the commercialization of research findings. My PhD research focused on plant transformation, nanoparticle gene delivery, gene expression studies, and RNA seq data analysis. I have also honed my communication, teaching, and leadership skills as a graduate research and teaching assistant and as a TRAC team lead.
