ABOUT CHIARA GIORGINI
Recent graduate in foreign languages for international trade with a deep interest in internationalisation strategies. My working languages are Italian, English, French and Portuguese combined with specific knowledge in international economics, law, marketing and communication. Currently working as Head of the Dublin Desk of the Italian Trade Agency, in charge of assisting Italian companies to enter the Irish market and providing market information about Ireland. I first joined the ITA as an FDI coordinator for various markets, therefore, I am currently pursuing this activity with a specific focus on helping Irish businesses to invest in Italy both to bring innovation and know-how and to foster the economic development of my country. I have always worked alongside studying and I took on different roles which involved the relation with the public. Thanks to these experiences I developed a deep commitment to customers’ needs and I improved my abilities of problem solving and effective communication. I have always been passionate about multiculturalism and travelling, thus, my curiosity and open mindset pushed me to get out of my comfort zone. In fact, I lived in Portugal and France and at the moment I am based in Dublin, Ireland. Thanks to my sociable character I am able to easily connect with people and develop long-lasting relationships. My main strength is definitely determination because every time I have an objective, I use all my competences to achieve it.
