Hello, my name is Chelsea, and I am currently on my placement year as a Recruitment Coordinator Intern at Hays while studying Business and Marketing at De Montfort University.This role is giving me the opportunity to develop valuable skills such as stakeholder engagement, candidate communication, relationship building, problem-solving, and organisation. I am also gaining confidence in time management, attention to detail, adaptability, teamwork, and professional communication through daily interaction with candidates and organisations.I have always had a strong passion for marketing, but through this placement I am also discovering my interest in the recruitment and business side of things. As a student, I want to use this time to gain a variety of skills and explore both areas, so that I can make an informed decision about the career path I would like to pursue in the future.
