ABOUT CHELSEA ABRAMOWITZ
I am a 2nd-year at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing a double major in the Intensive Design Architecture program and Humanistic Philosophy, with aspirations to become a biophilic architectural developer within a commercial and/or residential field. My academic and professional frameworks are rooted in a strong commitment to critical thinking, creativity, and interdisciplinary exploration. I am interested in how architecture can shape human experience, socially, sensorially, and physiologically, and I strive to approach design with both analytical rigor and creative intentionality. I am particularly passionate about studying, thinking about, and creating designed structures that act as a grounding, centralized force in daily lifestyles.As President of ARCHTank, the University of Pennsylvania’s undergraduate architecture organization, and President of Penn Dance Company, the premier modern dance ensemble, these positions of leadership have shaped my ability to lead and communicate with creative teams, manage complex projects, and foster collaborative, community-based environments. I am always seeking opportunities to further integrate design, research, critical thinking, and more in architecture!
