I am thrilled to have been accepted into the Kendrick Kelley Honors Program in the history department at Davidson College. Each year, this program allows five to six students to conduct research and produce a roughly 100 page thesis. This summer, heading into my senior year, I have a grant to conduct research — I\'ll then spend the fall and spring semesters completing my thesis. My project is titled:\"A Transatlantic Struggle: Reproductive Rights and Anti-Apartheid Activism Across South Africa and the U.S, 1970s-90s.\" My research will take me from Cape Town to Boston to Washington DC! I\'m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and look forward to developing my archival research skills and producing a significant piece of historical writing.
