ABOUT ANNA C.
I am a first-year student at Davidson College studying Political Science and Communications, with a growing interest in how gender studies intersect with policy and public leadership. As a John M. Belk Scholar and Patricia Cornwell Fellow, I’m passionate about using education, advocacy, and storytelling to drive social impact.I currently serve as a First-Year Senator in Davidson’s Student Government Association, where I aim to amplify student voices and help shape an inclusive campus community. Before college, I developed my voice through creative writing as a YoungArts Winner with Distinction and Scholastic Gold Medal Portfolio Winner, and years of national involvement in Youth in Government, where I discovered how narrative and policy can work together to inspire change. I’m eager to continue exploring the intersection of communication, politics, and equity—both on campus and beyond.
