ABOUT CHARLOTTE HARLING
As a Client Partner at Thoughtworks, my job is to make sure that our partnerships provide real and measurable value to our clients and to the customers they serve. We do this by advocating for and delivering technology excellence, agile ways of working and by our culture of diversity and equity. With many years of product management behind me I\'m slightly obsessed with understanding problems as well as making life better for developers and keeping customers at the absolute heart of everything we do.Those I work with value my clear and direct communication style as well as my optimism and personable nature. I believe in the power of culture in organisations and emulate that in my interactions, living by Norman L. Kerth\'s prime directive (not the Star Wars one) and valuing the same in others. I\'m a highly effective critical thinker and am often front of mind when someone\'s facing a difficult and complex problem. Before consultancy I dedicated my career to education and EdTech and became a product leader and SME, solving problems facing schools so they could focus on our young people. Social impact work will always be important to me which is why I choose to be part of Thoughtworks where I can be myself, learn from others and leave things just a little better than when I found them.
